Jennifer has worked in public service for many years, currently working as Deputy Director of Grassroots Operations for Americans for Prosperity. Prior to this role Jenn was the Outreach Director for Congressman Bob Gibbs (OH-7), where she staffed Bob in district. Here, she found her passion for public service.
She values Alliance, Ohio's economic growth, safety services, and park systems. She looks forward to showcasing the city in positive spotlights that shine the excellence of the people of Alliance.
Jennifer has served on several boards: Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health, Stark County Family Council, Greater Stark County Urban League, Stark County Homeless Consortium, and the Stark County Fatherhood Coalition. Jennifer has held office as the Treasurer for the city of Alliance, where, in January, she will be elected to city council-at-large.
In the past, while living in Louisville, she served on many community projects including Rainbow Playground Executive Board, where she chaired the finance committee which raised $200,000. She also served as cochair of the Louisville Constitution Festival which was a weekend long festival including entertainment, rides, and fireworks.
Jennifer’s passion for community is very important and she feels blessed to call Alliance her home. Jennifer has two adult children, Aaron and Chelsea, along with three grandchildren: Kaidence, Jak, and Brayden. Now, she lives with her dog, Zoey.
